Say you return to an idea you parked months ago. There was a reason you left it there, and quite a lot may have changed since. Aurelian brings that history into the discussion, including the directions you ruled out and why. It can also draw connections to other parts of your life that might affect what makes sense now. The command centre, influenced by Sigi's career in emergency communications, helps you pick up where you left off and work out what needs your attention next. Aurelian can bring a relevant connection or a useful next step to your attention, even when you haven't specifically asked for it. You can capture an idea by voice or message and return to it later, without having to organize everything yourself before the system can make use of it.
That history needs to remain accurate, especially as it grows. Provenance lets you trace an interpretation back to its source and correct it if Aurelian has misunderstood something. Aurelian also keeps its suggestions separate from the decisions you've actually made. With a local-first system, losing your internet connection doesn't mean losing access to your own records. You decide what information can leave your system and what Aurelian is permitted to do on your behalf. Model independence means you can change the AI models working with your personal context without having to rebuild that history.
Try Aurelian as it develops.
We’re looking for founders to try early versions across their projects, routines and everyday responsibilities, and tell us where Aurelian helps or gets in the way.
